Romi participates in Expomafe 2019
Company follows the worldwide trend with continuing focus on technology and high productivity.
Santa Bárbara D’Oeste, April 2019 – Romi, Brazilian leader in the industrial equipment market, participates in the second edition of Expomafe, one of the biggest exhibitions for the metalworking sector in Latin America. The event will start from May 7th to 11th at the São Paulo Exhibition & Convention Center, the most modern exhibition center in Latin America.
The Romi stand (No. E106) consists of 750m² where the company will display eleven machines. This will include the latest launch – Romi Line D – New Generation, an advanced version of its already consecrated line of machining centers being extremely versatile with an improved larger working area. The model stands out for their excellent thermal and geometrical stability, high absorption capacity of the machining forces, guaranteeing a greater capacity of removal of chips and consequent reduction of machining times. They are also equipped with a Direct Drive Head (engine coupled directly to the cartridge), with versions of 10,000 or 15,000 rpm and with spindle bearing in high precision rolling bearings, which results in great surface finishing an essential characteristic in the finishing of molds. Another highlight of the stand will be the Line of the Romi GL machines, which are advanced turning centers that are among the most popular products of the Romi brand.
With a focus on innovation and high productivity, Romi will be exhibiting for the first time in Brazil market the Burkhardt + Weber MCC 800 horizontal machining center (a German company acquired by Romi in 2011). These machines are robust that combines power, precision and efficiency, making Burkhardt + Weber the ideal tool for machining steel, cast iron and titanium. The MCC line, as well as other BW products, can be customized for each application, involving fastening devices, tooling and automation, within the “turn key” concept, for maximum productivity.
In Vertical Turning Centers, the highlight is the ROMI VTL Line, designed to operate in low or high production environments and allow increased productivity in the machining processes. In the CNC Lathe lines, the company presents the Romi Centur 35D model, which offers great flexibility in the machining of the most different types of parts, and can be equipped with several options, which make the process even more efficient.
A team of experts will be available to visitors with any technical, commercial or financial queries. So, for a great return on investment and with excellent options available for any business seeking to update or improve their equipment and processes, please visit stand E106.
